It all started in 1979 as an after school job in a mall store. In 1980 I moved to Redondo Beach, California where I learned art restoration over the next 2 years. I then spent a year in Palm Springs where we specialized in framing of highly collectable and unusually large pieces of art as well as objects. In 1983 I moved to Shaker Heights, Ohio where I spent a year learning frame restoration. In 1984 I began managing a high volume discount framing operation for 5 years before opening my first store. Two years later I purchased a second store.
In 2007, after vacationing in Myrtle Beach, S.C. for 30 years we decided to move here and open our little frame shop at the beach. Art & Frame Outlet carries all local art printed and framed by us in order to provide the best possible price and service. We sell all of our images based on the same price we charge to print your images. We stock all of the materials we sell and discount them by as much as 70% from normal retail pricing.
